'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is open to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is currently two years through the four-year agreement he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German side, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the initial significant achievement of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he once was, and would seriously contemplate prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had escaped him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
